Dr Migle Kalvaityte-Repecke

Miglė Kalvaitytė-Repečkė is a postdoctoral researcher in the Filipa Simões group at the Institute of Developmental and Regenerative Medicine, University of Oxford. She received her PhD from Vilnius University, Lithuania, where her research focused on epicardial biology and the molecular mechanisms underlying heart regeneration using zebrafish models. Her current work investigates zebrafish heart development by integrating novel genetic approaches, advanced imaging, and transcriptomic analyses to dissect the intercellular communication networks that drive cardiac development.
